People seek therapy for a multitude of reasons. Such as for help coping with major life challenges or transitions, addressing childhood trauma, dealing with depression or anxiety, or simply seeking greater self-knowledge or personal growth. Clients are seen once per week in 50 min sessions, depending on the client’s unique needs and personal goals for therapy.
Individual therapy is a process through which a clinician works with clients one-on-one in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. In this space, together we explore feelings, beliefs, or behaviors, work through challenging and important personal history. The goal is to help clients better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change and work toward desired change.
